NANDA I Nursing Diagnosis and the history of NANDA-I

NANDA stands for North American Nursing Diagnosis Association was founded in 1982.

The organization grew out of the National Conference Group, a task force established in 1973, at the First National Conference on the Classification of Nursing Diagnoses, held in St. Louis, Missouri, USA.


In 2002, NANDA became NANDA International (NANDA-I)

Angina pectoris is a clinical syndrome of chest pain due to transient myocardial ischemia. Myocardial ischemia is a condition where the heart muscle is deprived of oxygen, but has not suffered damage and is reversible, which is the diagnostic tool ECG showed ST depression or T inversion.
